As the social enterprise of the Cambodian Rural Development Team (CRDT), we specialize in designing customized educational and experiential travel programs for international schools, universities, NGOs, corporate groups, and other organizations seeking authentic, purpose-driven experiences in Cambodia. Our programs are carefully tailored to each group's learning objectives and can range from one week to four weeks, combining academic learning with hands-on experiences in environmental conservation, community development, responsible tourism, social entrepreneurship, cultural exchange, sustainable livelihoods, climate change adaptation, and environmental education. Through immersive field visits, community engagement, professional exchanges, and meaningful interactions with local communities, government agencies, NGOs, and conservation organizations, participants gain first-hand insights into Cambodia's rich cultural heritage, remarkable biodiversity, and sustainable development initiatives. Historyand Development
The educational journey begins in Phnom Penh, Cambodia's vibrant capital city, where students gain valuable insights into the country's history, resilience, and modern development. Participants visit significant historical sites, including the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (S21) and the Killing Fields during the Khmer Rough Regime, and visiting the famous, Royal Palace, National Museum to better understand Cambodia's recent history and the remarkable recovery of its people. Depending on the learning objectives, students also meet with NGOs, government agencies, social enterprises, and development partners to explore topics such as education, human rights, environmental management, social innovation, and sustainable development.

Indigenous Culture and Forest Conservation
The program continues to Cambodia's northeastern highlands of Mondulkiri, where students experience breathtaking landscapes, rich biodiversity, and the unique traditions of Indigenous communities. Through guided field visits, participants learn about forest conservation such as elephants watching, Visit Bou Sra Waterfall, Leo Kao Water and engaging with indigious community, climate resilience, sustainable livelihoods, and community-led natural resource management. Students have meaningful opportunities to interact with Indigenous families, local conservation organizations, and community leaders, gaining first-hand perspectives on cultural preservation and environmental stewardship.

From Mondulkiri Porvince, the journey continues to the beautiful Mekong River provinces of Kratie and Stung Treng, home to CRDT's Community-Based Ecotourism (CBET) destinations. Here, students experience authentic rural life where is the peaceful place, no traffic, no electricity people only use the Solar Panel, A peaceful life and time that it rarely happens to all people, while learning how local communities balance environmental conservation with sustainable livelihoods. Through homestays, community-led activities, and field visits, participants explore projects focused on freshwater biodiversity, sustainable agriculture, fisheries, ecotourism, and community development by egngaging in participation in any community project work such building the chicken pen, pig pen, home garden to improve the livelihood, building toilets to improving sanitation and learning about daily lifestyle of the community people haring the sound of the rooster as your alarm clock every morning. They also have the opportunity to engage directly with local residents, gaining a deeper understanding of the challenges and opportunities faced by river communities working to protect one of Southeast Asia's most important ecosystems.

More than a trekking tour, this is an opportunity to meet the Community Tourism Chief and hear his inspiring story of leading local efforts to protect Phnom Tbeng's forests, conserve wildlife, and develop community-based tourism as a sustainable alternative to deforestation.
Your adventure begins with a challenging hike from the foot of Phnom Tbeng Mountain to its summit, climbing approximately 1,100 metres through dense tropical forest. Once at the summit, continue your adventure with a 9 km trek through the mountain's untouched forest to the beautiful Taing Yu Waterfall. Along the trail, you'll be surrounded by towering trees, the songs of native birds, and, if you're lucky, may even spot some of the wildlife that calls this protected forest home.
Spend the night camping in the heart of the forest, enjoying a simple local meal, sharing stories around the campfire, and falling asleep beneath the stars to the sounds of the jungle.
